Battlestar - gone but not forgotten!

BattleStar is gone. I sit here crying tears of loss as I will no longer see Battlestar again but also of guilty relief. Relief of letting go. Of knowing they are ok & in a better place. Relief of new beginings. I need to cry some more & I know I will feel the loss at different times, especially alone, like driving in my car. Those are the times I cry the most.
It hurts, but with the pain, healing happens & you become stronger. And you never forget! For the journey you took together was for a purpose. The love shared. The memories made. The battles fought. Each moment together added value to your own life. Made you who you are today. And you will go on experiencing other things, alone at first, but never alone. They are with you always.
